My MAIP Fellowship
The MAIP Fellowship is a competitive program designed by the 4A's to provide opportunities to those with multicultural backgrounds within the advertising industry. From the moment I was accepted into the program, I knew that this was an incredible opportunity to kick-start my career and make a difference. The rigorous application process and interviews tested my skills, passion, and commitment, allowing me to grow both personally and professionally.
As a MAIP Fellow, I am exposed to a vibrant and diverse community of like-minded individuals who share a common goal of championing inclusion. Collaborating with others from various backgrounds and cultures has greatly developed my perspective.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the MAIP Fellowship is the mentorship and guidance offered to fellows. Seasoned professionals in the advertising industry serve as mentors, providing invaluable advice, insights, and support. These mentors became trusted allies, helping me navigate the intricacies of the industry, offering career guidance, and sharing their own personal experiences to inspire and motivate me.

Real World Experience:
MAIP goes beyond the theoretical and places fellows within top advertising agencies. I had the opportunity to work as an Art Direction intern under Omnicom. Having the chance to work on active projects, attend important meetings, and contribute to campaigns was an inspiring experience that has become a source of motivation for my future career. This practical exposure allowed me to apply my skills and gain industry-specific knowledge.

The MAIP Fellowship opens doors to an extensive network of industry professionals, fellow alumni, and program partners. Through various networking events, conferences, and workshops, I had the chance to connect with influential figures and build important relationships. Having access to this vast network has definitely enhanced my understanding of the industry landscape as whole.

Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of my MAIP Fellowship was the personal growth and transformation I experienced throughout the program. It challenged me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new perspectives. I furtherly developed crucial skills such as effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and the connections and memories I've made along the way!
So grateful to be a part of MAIP's 50th Cohort!
We're getting closer to Face of Talent! I've had a great time getting to know my cohort further. Lately I've been connecting with other interns under Omnicom and collaborating with team members on our Disney brief. Excited to see what's in store and so so happy to finally meet everyone in NYC for the Face of Talent Luncheon!
